Are you an experienced Mechanical Technician with a knack for leadership and a passion for problem-solving? We’re looking for a Lead Mechanical Technician to join our team and coordinate the work of our skilled technicians. If you excel in assembly, troubleshooting, and guiding others, this role is for you!
Shift Availability:
8 hour day shift position = starting at 7:30am.
What you’ll do…
Lead and coordinate the work of mechanical technicians responsible for assembly, disassembly, set-up, troubleshooting, and testing of machines and sub-assemblies’ systems.
Lead and coordinate mechanical technicians.
Oversee assembly, disassembly, setup, and testing of machines.
Diagnose and repair complex systems.
Guide technicians and ensure project accuracy.
Collaborate with engineers on technical solutions.
Recommend and implement continuous improvements.
Mentor and support other technicians.

What you’ll need…
Requires one of the following:
Associate’s degree with an emphasis in mechanical systems and eight (8) years of mechanical assembly experience, OR
Ten (10) years’ of relevant mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
Meet the requirements of the education, experience knowledge, skills and abilities of the Mechanical Technician III
Demonstrated mastery in mechanical machine process control systems
Experience mentoring and reviewing technicians work
Prior experience testing, troubleshooting, and repairing machines, tooling, components and equipment
Understand production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of products
Excellent verbal and written skills necessary to communicate intricate job-related information
Up to 40% domestic and international travel. At times, critical business needs may require more travel.
Ability to travel as required to production facilities to assist customers
