Perform design calculations, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with senior engineers for design reviews and validation.Lead and manage small to mid-size water/wastewater projects from inception through design, construction, and commissioning. Coordinate all phases of the project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.Provide technical support and expertise to multidisciplinary project teams, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers. Ensure the integration of project components and high-quality project outcomes. Regularly communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to resolve issues and keep projects moving forward.Write comprehensive technical reports, project documentation, and regulatory submissions. Maintain accurate project records and provide timely updates to clients, internal teams, and stakeholders. Participate in client meetings and provide technical presentations as needed.Provide on-site support during construction phases, including site inspections, contractor coordination, and quality control. Address field issues and make design adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project implementation.Represent the company in meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Maintain professional and service-oriented relationships with all external parties to foster trust and support business development efforts.What we are looking for:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related scientific discipline is required. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.4+ years of professional experience in water/wastewater engineering, with a focus on the design and management of wastewater treatment systems, collection systems, and related infrastructure.Current Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability and commitment to obtaining the PE within 6 months of hire. EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification and actively pursuing PE is acceptable for candidates with less than 6 years of experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil3D, and other design and modeling software. Experience with wastewater-specific software such as SewerCAD, InfoSewer, or BioWin is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present technical information clearly and effectively to clients, contractors, and internal teams. Comfortable writing reports, preparing technical documentation, and conducting presentations.Ability to lead projects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
