Great benefits and excellent company culture.Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Controller to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring the integrity of financial reports, and maintaining compliance with SOX regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, SOX compliance, accounting, finance, internal controls, variance analysis, general ledger, inventory, ERP, audit, and GL.Responsibilities:1. Oversee all financial operations of the manufacturing plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.2. Manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.3. Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal controls.4. Lead variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.5. Maintain the general ledger and oversee inventory management.6. Utilize ERP systems to streamline financial processes and enhance data accuracy.7. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure a successful audit process.8. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals.9. Provide financial insights to the management team to aid in strategic decision-making.10. Train and mentor finance staff to ensure a high level of competency in financial management.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is preferred.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing or engineering industry.3. Proven experience with manufacturing accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, SOX compliance, accounting, finance, internal controls, variance analysis, general ledger, inventory, ERP, audit, and GL.4. Strong knowledge of ERP systems and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.5. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.9.
