Job Description
The key responsibilities of this role include the following:
Oversee the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of assigned funds.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Collaborate with the investment team to analyze fund performance and contribute to strategic decision-making.Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for funds.Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.Develop and maintain effective internal controls and procedures.Assist in the preparation of investor reports and presentations.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fund accounting.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field4+ years of experienceCPA preferred but not requiredStrong understanding of GAAP and regulatory frameworks.Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, accounting software).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.What's on Offer
