Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Pega Developer with expertise in Pega 8.x design, development, and integration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Dev Studio for workflow creation, UI design, business rules, routing, security, and integrations. Familiarity with financial services frameworks, particularly Smart Investigate, and domain expertise in payments and financial services is highly desired. The role involves leading a team, designing robust solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver impactful implementations.
Key ResponsibilitiesPega Development:Design and develop workflows, business rules, routing, security, and integrations using Pega 8.x.Utilize Pega's Smart Investigate or other financial services frameworks for tailored implementations.
AI/ML and Automation:Leverage Pega AI/ML, GenAI, and NLP capabilities to design automation and straight-through processing solutions.
Solution Design:Create multiple design options with pros and cons for implementation roadmaps.Develop a strong understanding of Pega application deployment options and ecosystem integration with REST/SOAP calls and Message Queues.
Team Leadership:Lead development teams, review code and design, and ensure adherence to project timelines and estimates.Collaborate with project managers and scrum masters to support agile delivery processes.
Domain Expertise:Apply domain knowledge in payments, payment investigations, and financial services to create effective solutions.
Client Interaction:Act as a team player with strong client-facing skills, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction.
Required SkillsTechnical Expertise:Extensive experience in Pega 8.x design, development, and integration.Hands-on experience with Dev Studio for workflows, UI, business rules, routing, and security.Proficiency in Pega AI/ML, GenAI, and NLP for automation.Strong knowledge of Smart Investigate or other financial services frameworks.

Preferred SkillsKnowledge of cloud platforms, performance troubleshooting, and deployment architecture.Experience in process improvement and optimization.Functional expertise in ISO 20022 MX and MT messaging standards.
