Position Summary
The Healthcare Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst/Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions to support data-driven decision-making in the healthcare sector. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and create reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, healthcare systems, and BI tools.
Responsibilities
:
Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
Analyze healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Develop and optimize SQL queries and data models.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing data validation and quality checks.
Provide technical support and training to end-users on BI tools and solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest BI technologies and industry trends.
Participate in the implementation and maintenance of data warehouses and data marts.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI solutions and data sources.
Create and maintain documentation for BI processes and solutions.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.
3+ years Healthcare Managed Care experience
Must have proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
EPIC System experience
highly
preferred
Experience with ETL processes and data integration is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$106,605.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
