Wells Fargo is seeking an Audit Director (AD)
to lead Internal Audit’s program of coverage of
Credit Risk
Management. This position is
an integral part of the Corporate Risk
Audit
leadership team
and
serve
s
as a leader and subject matter specialist covering
commercial and consumer
c
redit
ri
sk
management activities
. Specifically, this leader will lead a high performing team of approximately
25
team members. Experience navigating matrixed organizations, interfacing with regulatory agencies and building an effective audit approach to evaluate information and risk in this ever-changing risk environment is important. The candidate should have a demonstrated ability to influence management, build strong trusted relationships and drive change designed to mitigate risk.
In this role, you will:
Manage multiple teams responsible for covering defined segments of the Audit Plan
Own all aspects of the Credit Risk Management Audit program. This includes, but is not limited to:
Defining the audit strategy
Developing and risk assessing the audit universe
Developing and executing the audit plan
Performing business monitoring
Validating issue closure
Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with internal (business and audit partners) and external (regulators and external auditors) stakeholders
Ensure that the audit plan and engagements are risk-based and are executed according to Internal Audit policies and guidance
Build and maintain proficient leadership teams
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Internal Audit
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of Audit, Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of management experience
Desired Qualifications:
Substantial experience leading audit, risk, or regulator teams focused on
commercial and consumer c
redit
r
isk
management related activities within
large banking institutions
Prior Audit Leadership experience at a large, complex Financial Services firm
Experience working directly with Regulators (OCC, FRB, CFPB)
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree
Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with key stakeholders across senior levels in an organization
Certification in one or more of the following: CIA, CPA, CISA
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 20%

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
