Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Expands business by identifying and developing new opportunities within the designated region for the company's products.Oversees and nurtures relationships with current clients to drive growth.Handles relationships with key clients to ensure long-term partnerships.Provides regular updates on sales activities to leadership, including travel logs, expense summaries, CRM updates, competitive intelligence, and market trends, in line with company standards.Identifies purchasing patterns, evaluates customer needs, and fosters strong client relationships.Initiates customer inquiries, follows through, negotiates terms, and finalizes sales agreements.Works closely with engineering teams to develop proposals, adjust market pricing, assess conditions, and align with company guidelines.Analyzes client requirements and recommends the most suitable product solutions.Contributes to evaluating market size and growth potential.Enhances visibility of products and the company within the market.Increases the rate of successful sales conversions.Shares sales performance data with management to support future sales planning.Assesses the necessity of participation in local trade shows.Monitors the status of ongoing project quotes and maintains CRM updates.Manages sales operations within the allocated budget, including travel, marketing initiatives, and product samples.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelor Degree in a technical field; from an accredited institution.Advanced Business or Economics Degree a plus.A minimum of 5-10 years of sales experience in the process equipment industry.Proven sales records in selling process equipment.Experience in selling steel or aluminum is ideal.Highly motivatedProfessional work ethicsExceptional interpersonal skillsBusiness environment awareness/knowledge: negotiation, closing deals, etc.OrganizedExcellent communication skillsPossess ability to perform multiple tasksExceptional project management skillsPunctual, reliable, self-directedProactively oriented towards solving customers' problemsWhat's on Offer
