Pierro, Connor & Strauss is looking for a highly skilled Estate Planning Paralegal with a strong focus on drafting estate planning documents and client interaction. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing documents such as Wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care proxies, etc., while managing client communication and gathering essential information for the creation of personalized estate plans. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to work directly with clients to understand their needs and prepare documents accordingly.Compensation:
$55,000 - $75,000 yearlyResponsibilities:
Prepare and draft estate planning documents, including but not limited to Wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills, and healthcare directives, under the guidance of an attorneyCustomize documents based on individual client situations, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all draftsAssist attorneys in conducting initial client intake interviews to gather relevant personal, financial, and family information required for document draftingCoordinate communication with clients, answering inquiries and ensuring all necessary documents and information are collected in a timely mannerMaintain client confidentiality while managing sensitive financial and personal dataEnsure all executed documents are properly signed, notarized, and filed in accordance with state lawQualifications:
Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in estate planning or related legal fieldsCertification as a paralegal from an accredited program (preferred)At least 3 years of experience drafting estate planning documents or in a similar paralegal role with a focus on wills, trusts, and related legal documentsProficiency in using legal software such as Clio, NetDocuments, Wealth Docx preferredStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate directly with clients and colleaguesAbout CompanyOur firm provides trusted counsel for estate and trust planning, elder law, Medicaid planning, estate and trust administration and litigation, guardianship, special needs planning, business planning, and tax planning
