Job Title: Quality Control Manager - Langley AFB
Position Description:The Quality Control Manager performs all major QC activities required for construction projects and provides written documentation as per each project's contract documents. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining project submittal logs, conducting meetings, verifying materials, coordinating testing and commissioning of building systems, and maintaining project "as-built" drawings.
Key Responsibilities:Create, update, and maintain project submittal log and other project-specific QC reportsReview shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specificationsDocument weekly QC meetings and provide written minutesProvide daily QC reports reinforcing construction activities in conformance with project standardsConduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up meetings to establish understanding of care standardsRequired Skills and Qualifications:Degree in engineering or construction management preferredCurrent USACE CQMCAt least 2 years' experience as a QCM with a commercial and/or industrial general contractor engaged in general building constructionWorking knowledge of civil, architectural, mechanical, and electrical workKnowledge of project scheduling, change administration, and means and methods of constructionSome of the Benefits Include (Once hired on permanently):Our client offers free health benefits to include LASIK & OrthodonticsGenerous vacation & sick packages plus most federal national holidays offGreat 401K benefits to include fully vested 100% match on first 3% contributionOur client invests in their employees via continuing education opportunitiesThis is a Temp to Perm hire of a period of not more than 3 months
