Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for activities related to system administration, including the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software. This role involves managing desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks, providing support for IT systems, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Assign personnel to various projects, direct their activities, and evaluate their work.

Ensure long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.

Implement operating system enhancements to improve system reliability and performance.

Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems, including account monitoring, security, OS installation, and other local area system administration functions.

Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.

Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes.

Provide day-to-day operations support, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.

Escalate and communicate status to agency management and internal customers.

Support the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.

Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems.

Install/load operating system and application software.

Isolate and resolve hardware and software problems involving applications, operating systems, hardware, and communications infrastructure.

Troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components.

Integrate new technologies into existing systems, including transition and migration of corporate systems.

Top Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years of experience or Master’s with 10 years of experience.

In-depth experience in troubleshooting IT systems.

Ability to provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.

DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification required prior to support on contract.

IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent.

Computing Environment: MSCA 2016, Microsoft Azure Administrator or equivalent (Must obtain the full AZ104 Microsoft Azure Administrator within 180 days from start date).

Experience with Active Directory, IT Systems, and System Administration.

TS/SCI clearance required.

This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to be obtain an (Interim Secret, Interim Top Secret)
