ADUSA Procurement is part of the Ahold Delhaize USA family of brands, which also includes five leading omnichannel grocery brands - Food Lion, Giant Food, The GIANT Company, Hannaford and Stop & Shop.
The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying system requirements, and bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
***Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD
Essential job functions:Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements.Analyze existing systems, processes, and data to identify improvement opportunities.Translate business requirements into clear and concise system requirements and specifications.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, to design, develop, and implement solutions, inclusive of large, medium, and small business enhancements.Conduct system testing, validate functionality, and ensure solutions meet business needs.Create and maintain documentation, including user manuals and training materials.Provide training and support to end-users during system implementations or updates.Continuously monitor and assess system performance, recommending optimizations and enhancements as needed.Serve as the subject matter expert for business systemsModify and configure systems to meet business needs and stakeholder requirementsPrepare robust technical reports and create diagrams, workflow maps, or other visuals to facilitate enhanced system understanding.Establish baseline key performance indicators (KPI) / metrics for systems monitoringSupport the troubleshooting and resolution complex systems issues and/or escalations (e.g. high severity incident tickets, situation management callsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a field such as Business Administration, Information Technology, or Computer Science. Equivalent work experience will be considered.Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role in the retail or consumer packaged goods industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.Proficiency in requirement gathering, process modeling, and documentation tools/software.Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis until the end of their appointmentPreferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of grocery industry digital and physical end-to-end supply chain.Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.Understanding of data analysis, SQL, and database management.
