Job Description
The Senior Project Developer (Renewable Energy) will be responsible for:
Collaborating in the management and execution of the development of utility scale renewable energy projects from greenfield to CODCollaborate with engineering team and external consultants to evaluate site layouts and constraints, technology options, schedule implications, interconnection applications and studiesDirect and conduct due diligence on development-stage project and portfolio acquisitions, including comparison and prioritisation of multiple opportunities based on common siting, permitting, interconnection, power-marketing and other project metricsManage external stakeholders supporting environmental assessment campaignsManage external stakeholders supporting property and sales tax abatement effortsManage occasional permitting activities with support from other team membersPrepare project budgets, schedules, and RFP responsesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
The Senior Project Developer (Renewable Energy) will have
From (2-5) year's experience in renewable energy industry with full life-cycle developmentExperience with development of utility scale wind projects in ERCOT, WECC, and/or CAISO.Experience with land development: landowner engagement, and negotiation/contracting, title resolution, agricultural land use/water restrictionsKnowledge of governmental mandates, environmental regulations or customer/market signals that impact or facilitate new development of renewable projectsBachelor's degree is requiredPlease still apply if you have smaller scale projects but could still see yourself contributingNot for New York City Applicants.Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, Michael Page will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.Michael Page will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
