DescriptionLeidos currently has an opening for a Logistics Manager to support the Advanced Battle Management System's (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Network Manager program. In this mission we support the Department of Air Force's (DAF) to field and operate the ABMS Digital Infrastructure. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for supporting logistics planning, warehouse management and customer engagement of kit distribution.ABMS is a top modernization priority for the DAF and will be the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management in partnership with all the services across the Department of Defense. That broader effort is known as Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2). As envisioned, JADC2 will allow U.S. forces from all services - as well as allies and partners - to sense, make sense and act upon a vast array of data and information faster than adversaries can detect and respondPrimary ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and oversee the shipment of kits, ensuring timely and accurate deliveriesMaintain constant communication with leadership regarding kit's request and control the process-flow of requestManage and supervise daily warehouse operations, including the receiving, storage, and organization of goods and kitsImplement and enforce warehouse safety protocols and maintain compliance with relevant regulations with handling of unclassified and classified componentsDevelop and maintain efficient inventory management systems, ensuring accurate records and tracking of goodsCollaborate with procurement and transportation teams to optimize the flow of materials and minimize delaysConduct regular audits of warehouse inventory and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiencyResolve any issues related to shipments, storage, or warehouse operations swiftly and effectivelyGenerate reports on warehouse performance and logistics metrics for management reviewTrain and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environmentBasic QualificationsMust possess a TS/SCI clearanceMust be U.S. CitizenBachelor's degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Master's with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degreeWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookDemonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of ABMS DINMExperience hosting a weekly meeting and providing leadership status of operations and weekly reportsKnowledge of ITAR, Customs regulations, or hazardous materials handlingProven experience in managing warehouse operations and coordinating complex shipmentsStrong understanding of inventory management and supply chain processesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with property owners and stakeholdersProficiency in warehouse management softwareExceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and time-management abilitiesFamiliarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operationsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business AdministrationExperience handling High-Value sensitive assets and COMSEC equipmentCertifications in logistics or supply chain managementExperience collaborating on projects with cross functional teamsPrior experience working on ABMS or JADC2 initiativesOriginal Posting Date:

Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00
