Admission to practice law and good standing in the relevant jurisdiction is required.Duties:Manage and litigate intellectual property cases, with a focus on patent litigation.Provide legal analysis and strategy for complex IP disputes involving technologies in biology, chemistry, physical sciences, or engineering.Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Conduct legal research and prepare briefs, reports, and other litigation materials.Represent clients in court, depositions, and other legal proceedings.Collaborate with technical experts and clients to develop and present case strategies.Handle case management tasks, including coordinating discovery, preparing for trial, and negotiating settlements.Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and technological advancements affecting IP litigation.Requirements:Experience in intellectual property litigation, with a focus on patent matters.Law firm experience preferred.Technical degree in biology, chemistry, physical sciences, engineering, or a related field is preferred.Outstanding academic credentials.Superior written and oral communication skills.Must be admitted to practice law and in good standing in the jurisdiction where hired.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.Technical degree (e.g., in biology, chemistry, engineering) preferred.Certifications:Admission to practice law and in good standing in the Washington, DC jurisdiction (or eligibility to transfer or become admitted).Skills:Expertise in patent litigation and intellectual property law.Strong technical background relevant to IP disputes.Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Superior oral and written communication abilities.Ability to manage complex cases and collaborate with technical experts.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and case management capabilities.
