As a Senior HR Risk Specialist in Capital One's Human Resource Business Risk Office, you will be responsible for working with business partners to identify and consult on potential risks to Capital One, applying your risk/process management and analytical skills to drive well-managed risk activities. Additionally, building win-win partnerships with multiple stakeholders both within and outside of the HR Business Risk Office, while adapting to and managing change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, are default essentials for this role.Other Responsibilities Include:
Business Area Contact (BAC) for Human Resource with the Corporate Policy Office. The BAC is responsible for driving efficient policy management across a Business Area.Addresses day-to-day policy management-related matters for their Business Area and helps identify documentation and policy management issues to be escalated to the proper channels.Ensures effective policy management workflow under guidance provided by the CPO.Coordinates with Document Owners to ensure effective completion of documentation under guidance provided by the CPO.Reports policy management workflow status to the CPO.Communicates relevant information from CPO led forums and meetings to affected Business Area stakeholders and coordinates collection of materials for CPO led forums and meetings.Receives and responds as a single point of contact for CPO policy document queries and concerns.(SME) on Human Resources Policy, Standards, and Procedures Management.Owns submission of Policy and Standards On and Off Cycle renewals with Document Managers, Owners, and Approval Authorities.Collaborates with Vertical Risk Advisors and business partners for timely delivery of Policy, Standards & Procedures updates according to Corporate Policy Office (CPO) standards (Project, process, risk management, & communications).Prepares document owners and document managers for upcoming CPO assessments & manages deliverables with the Lines of Business and Vertical Risk Advisors.Ownership of Monthly Policy Newsletter.Ownership of the HR Policy management and HR Risk Office Internal Google sites.Ownership of Risk Office Local Work Instruction Repository and Annual Review Oversight.Ensures independent escalation of risk management gaps, issues, and concerns to management.Identifies opportunities to improve risk management practices and develops solutions to perfect risk management, eliminate waste, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.Participates in and executes other special projects for the risk office.Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.At least 1 year of experience working in the Agile Team environment.At least 1 year of experience in project, process, program, or risk management.Preferred Qualifications:
