THE PRACTICE:

This role will align with our Manufacturing & Operations practice and fall under the Production & Operations capability.

Manufacturing & Operations professionals help our clients achieve their ambitions for digital transformation within their core manufacturing and operations throughout the full lifecycle of their assets. With domain expertise across consulting and technology they unlock new sources of opex and capex efficiency and effectiveness.

Digital Production & Operations Systems Engineers enable Manufacturing Modernization with deep specialization in Execution systems (MES/MOM), Automation, and Plant data models.

YOU ARE:

An experienced and forward-thinking Digital Manufacturing Technical Solution Architect who thrives on developing cutting-edge solutions at the intersection of shop floor operations, manufacturing IT systems, and cloud and edge computing. You excel at designing and implementing scalable, high-performance architectures that drive smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 transformations.

THE WORK:

Produce attractive, cost-effective solutions that will improve the way our clients run manufacturing operations.

Plan, design, and build complex digital roadmaps.

Combine an understanding of the business and tech side of industrial software to deliver client value.

Act as a Digital manufacturing translator bridging business requirements and Digital manufacturing technology enablers.

Create business cases for technological and organizational transformation.

Develop architectures, estimates, staffing, and implementation plans, evaluating the pros and cons of different approaches.

Lead small teams to be responsive and efficient.

Full lifecycle experience in developing and implementing solutions in real-world environments.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

5 years of experience in manufacturing systems environment, architecting and implementing Industry 4.0 solutions.

3 years of experience in cloud and edge architecture (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud experience).

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

Experience in PLM, MES/MOM, PLC, SCADA, Internet of Things (IoT) platforms, Manufacturing IT Systems integration.

Demonstrated experience with loosely coupled, micro-services platform architectures, containerization (docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.

Expertise in big data technologies, AI/ML framework and cybersecurity best practices (including OT security).

Experience in architecting for use cases in Manufacturing.

Certification in cloud and edge architecture (AWS certified solution architect and/or Azure solution architect expert).

Knowledge of edge and cloud capabilities.

You enjoy being on the move, visiting clients and partners for meetings and workshops.

Compensation:

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below. We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.

Role Location Annual Salary Range:

California: $73,000 to $192,600

Colorado: $73,000 to $166,400

District of Columbia: $77,700 to $177,200

New York: $67,600 to $192,600

Maryland: $67,600 to $154,100

Washington: $77,700 to $177,200
