Audit Supervisor
Position Overview:
A leading CPA firm in the Greater Orlando area is seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled auditor with a CPA license, extensive hands-on experience in managing audit engagements, and a strong background in team leadership. The Audit Supervisor will oversee the entire audit process, working directly with clients to deliver high-quality audit services. This role is ideal for someone with a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of audit practices, and a passion for developing team talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Engagement Management:
Lead all aspects of audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring high-quality standards, compliance, and efficiency.Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor audit team members, providing guidance, feedback, and support for professional development.Client Relationship Management:
Serve as a primary contact for clients during audits, building strong relationships and addressing any client concerns promptly.Risk Assessment & Compliance:
Conduct risk assessments and ensure that audit engagements comply with regulatory requirements and professional standards.Reporting & Documentation:
Oversee the preparation of audit reports and financial statements, reviewing and ensuring accuracy in all audit documentation.Continuous Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in audit processes and contribute to developing best practices within the firm.Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's degree preferred.Certification:
Active CPA license required.Experience:
Minimum of 6+ years of audit experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Previous experience in a CPA firm is strongly preferred.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in audit software and MS Office Suite. Knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.Attributes:
Strong leadership, excellent communication, analytical skills, and a commitment to client service.Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.Benefits Package:
