TravelSalary: $2,900.40/weekMedical Specialty: Multi-Modality TechnologistStandard Shift: DaysWeekly Schedule: 3x12Shift Timings: Start times range from 07:00 AM, 08:00 AM, and 09:30 AM.Description:Perform all required diagnostic CT scanning procedures, consistently demonstrating good judgment in evaluating the diagnostic studies for quality and diagnoses.Recognize and initiates treatment of allergic reactions and notify the responsible physician accordingly.Responsible for providing diagnostic procedure imaging as requested by LMC physiciansContact nursing stations to verify patient schedules, medications and special requirements or restrictions.Responsible for producing MRI images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues.Interprets a physician's scanning/exam instructions, administering contrast materials, preparing, and operating the MR scanner and x-ray equipment (as needed), and position the patient to capture appropriate images.Principal Accountabilities:Interprets MR Protocols and correctly positions the patient for the exam.Evaluates MR scans and X-Ray images (as needed) for technical quality.Utilizes EPIC Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.Start IV lines and pre-screens outpatients prior to any contrast exams.Prepares and administers contrast material using the power injector.Contributes to the team and works cooperatively with peers.Treats fellow employees in a respectful and professional manner.Performs other related duties as assigned including but not limited to QA, stock maintenance, and customer service recovery.Preferred:EPIC experience.GE systems platform experience/knowledge.2+ years of MR experience.Applicant must be proficient in 2 modalities.Must have a current certification in one of the modalities and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality: Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography(M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Sonography(S) or Positron Emission Tomography (PET): RequiredARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or ARRT-Mammography (ARRT-M) or ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MRI) or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S): RequiredEducations Required:Accredited educational program related to the radiology field and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).Associate's degree in applied science in Diagnostic Radiology.Certifications / Licenses Required:Must have Xray and Fluoroscopy license.CA State Radiology License.Current ARRT credentialed in MR.Current BLS certification.ProKatchers LLC is revolutionizing healthcare staffing!
