Following a recent retirement, they are now looking for a Quality Engineer to lead the quality operations, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.Job DescriptionEnsure continuous compliance with IATF 16949 standardsLead cross-functional teams in the development and revision of Process Control Plans, Manufacturing Process Plans, FMEAs, and Process MastersInitiate and manage follow-up actions for Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAR/PAR)Oversee activities related to Claims and Non-Conforming Products, including handling necessary internal and external documentationReview Heat Treatment nonconformances and determine whether reprocessing or retesting is requiredReview Material Test Reports for compliance with order specifications and submit them to customersRecord quality-related data, including nonconformances and first-pass quality, into QA databasesPrepare quality reports and update monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dataPrepare and submit First Article/Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) packagesConduct Internal Quality Audits to ensure adherence to IATF 16949Coordinate supplier quality activities, including supplier audits and surveys MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
