Description
Position Summary:
A Commercial Loan Servicer is primarily responsible for accurate input of commercial loans to the bank's core system, performing post-closing audits and tracking policy and file exceptions. In doing so it supports the Relationship Managers, Business Service Representatives and Personal Bankers with accurate and consistent documentation review and compliance with applicable regulations. This position also works closely with the Business Service Representatives to ensure accurate and timely loan disbursement and collection of fees. The position requires strong attention to detail skills, exceptional support of customer-related questions and the ability to handle multiple tasks. This position requires a good knowledge of loan documentation ensuring loan files are scanned and archived properly.
Responsibilities for Commercial Loan Servicer Duties:Ensure accurate and timely entry of loan documentation to bank's core system.Provide support as needed to Business Service Representatives with loan disbursements and the collection of fees.Ensure fees and costs are properly deferred.Perform post-closing tasks, including collateral lien perfection and loan policy and file exception tracking.Perform imaging of all executed documents.Verify loans and maintenance entered to the loan system the previous day.Maintain paper copies of required "wet signature" documents.Follow up on file exceptions and monitor files for outstanding items such as final title policies, vehicle liens and insurance.File UCC continuations.Post incoming wire payments.Process payments/advances for our participated loans.Complete daily/monthly balancing of loan general ledger accounts. Research out of balance and outstanding items.Perform monthly reporting to secondary market investors such as USDA, SBA and Farmer Mac.Perform paid loan processing duties, including processing payoff transactions, collateral releases and UCC Terminations.Add/delete autopay info to the bank's core system.Clear non-post transaction items from previous day.Support Relationship Manager, Personal Bankers, Business Service Representatives and Commercial Loan Processors as neededAdhere to the bank's Code of Ethics#INDBF
