Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role involves cleaning and deburring generator rotor shafts, reading and interpreting technical documents, and assembling components with precision. Location: Charlotte, NC
Assignment Type: 6 - 18 months (Contract)
Work Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $23 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Clean and Deburr Parts: Use cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths to prepare generator rotor shafts for assembly.
Read and Interpret Documentation: Work with schematics, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine material requirements and assembly instructions.
Inventory Management: Mark and tag components to track stock inventory effectively.
Assembly Preparation: Position, align, and adjust workpieces and electrical parts to facilitate efficient wiring and assembly processes.
Packaging and Transport: Pack finished assemblies for shipment and transport them to storage areas using hoists or hand trucks.
Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with supervisors or engineers to plan tasks, review activities, and resolve production issues.
Knowledge Sharing: Provide guidance on assembly procedures or techniques to fellow team members as needed.
Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics, blueprints, and work orders.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow assembly instructions accurately.
Experience in handling and aligning components for assembly.
Basic knowledge of inventory tagging and tracking systems.
Ability to use cleaning tools, hoists, and hand trucks safely and effectively.
Excellent communication skills for team collaboration and problem resolution.

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
