The Automation Business Analyst will work closely with various teams across Hackensack Meridian Healthy (HMH) to support automation teams throughout the automation journey. Additionally, this role will participate in the feasibility analysis, solutioning new automation implementations, developing use cases, and creating documentation to support each automation journey.
This is a remote position. We are looking for experienced candidates that have worked with UiPath RPA before.
Responsibilities
A day in the life of a Automation Business Analyst at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:
Understands all the stages of an automation journey and describes the role of the Business Analyst in each stage.
Works with the Manager of Business Engagement Automation to qualify and quantify automation opportunities through ideation workshops with business stakeholders.
Interacts with business stakeholders to conduct high-level process assessments to support automation.
Applies process improvement methodologies and tools to improve efficiencies, reduce risk and/or increase standardization.
Participates in brainstorming sessions with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Solution Architects to provide inputs for robotic process automation solutions.
Understands end-user requirements, make recommendations for solutions as needed, works with cross-functional teams to capture business requirements and perform thorough testing.
Prepares and presents analysis, methods and results to non-expert personnel, management team and technical experts throughout different projects and processes.
Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for others seeking to utilize RPA technologies to automate and streamline existing manual business processes.
Oversees documentation required to support each phase of the Automation Journey.
Works with business SMEs to collect test data and build test cases for development opportunities.
Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics. Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Business, or other related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in operations or process consultancy.
Strong analytical mind.
Experience with agile development and software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
Ability to understand a business process based on a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution while using business analysis skills.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
Experience working as a business analyst for an RPA Automation Program.
Understanding of business processes implemented in enterprise and clinical applications (like Oracle, PeopleSoft, Epic etc.).
