Are you a board-certified vascular surgeon seeking a locum tenens opportunity in a coastal area of South Carolina? We have an exciting opportunity for call-only coverage in a Level 3 Trauma Center near Georgetown, SC.
Details of the Assignment:Start Date:
January 9, 2025End Date:
March 31, 2025Shifts:
24-hour call (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)Practice Setting:
Inpatient only, no outpatient requirementsPatients Per Shift:
8-10Call Ratio:
1:3 with minimal call-back (5%)Qualifications:
Board certification in vascular surgery is required.Fellowship training in vascular surgery is a must.Active South Carolina license or eligibility for licensure through IMLC.Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.Facility Highlights:
Stroke-certified facility.Temporary privileges available for streamlined onboarding.Support from a skilled team of three advanced practice providers (NPs/PAs).Procedures and Skills Required:
General vascular procedures including arterial bypass, aneurysm repair, and vascular access device placements.Basic surgical procedures such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and more.Ventilation and central line management.Why Consider This Opportunity?
