IT Concepts is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the Social Security Administration. The Business Analyst will help process improvements and enhance operational efficiency within the SSA. In this role, you will engage with stakeholders to identify business requirements and create essential documentation while leading user acceptance testing. You will analyze data to support strategic decision-making and recommend automation opportunities. Your expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies will be vital in navigating projects successfully. Responsibilities:

Meeting with stakeholders to identify business requirements

Create supporting documentation, such as training schedules and documents, communication documents, process documentation and user acceptance testing documentation

Analyze and documenting management information requirements

Organize and tracking meeting minutes and action items

Assess existing business processes and workflows to recommend enhancements and automation opportunities.

User acceptance testing

Anticipate problems and working to mitigate any anticipated cost, schedule, quality, or timeliness impacts to projects.

Communicate with internal and external workgroups related to project activities.

Assist in developing business process documents and other Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) artifacts. Familiarity with AGILE methodology and Waterfall methodology highly preferred.

Maintain project, problem reporting, workgroup, or other group mailboxes.

Perform research to include gathering and analyzing data and information necessary to understand and describe various business processes; identify issues or problems; and assist with solutions and recommendations.

Review technical and business process documents and provide substantive comments.

Develop, compile, and analyze strategic planning data from multiple sources to support decision-making.

Perform data analysis, measurement reporting, and statistical analysis.

Location: Remote - must be within two hours of Woodlawn, MD.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in related field

Experience developing business process flows

Experience creating supporting documentation, such as training schedules and documents, communication documents, process documentation and user acceptance testing documentation

Experience with user acceptance testing

Experience analyzing and documenting management information requirements

Experience organizing and tracking meeting minutes and action items

Experience with Agile best practices

Experience with grooming user stories

Experience with technical writing and developing presentations

Experience anticipating problems and working to mitigate any anticipated cost, schedule, quality, or timeliness impacts to projects

Experience in developing and deploying complex IT systems

Experience developing briefings for Senior Leaders

Knowledge of different types of IT solutions available in the market and ability to map them to solve business problems

Experience presenting to and working with all levels of management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience interfacing directly with clients

Preferred Skills:

Experience using VersionOne and Jira

Experience in fraud scheme studies and evaluating federal program integrity activities

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (preferred)

Clearance requirements:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
