IsI Enterprises is seeking a reliable and task-oriented Security Specialist (SS). This individual will report to the Director of Helpdesk Operations and work directly with two (2) Assistant Facility Security Officers (AFSO) on the Security Operations Team in a challenging, fast-paced, collaborative, and rewarding environment. The individual will be responsible for supporting the security programs for approximately seventy (70) different small businesses with approximately sixteen hundred (1600) Personnel Security Clearances (PCL) associated primarily with collateral and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs. The successful candidate will start and finish their duties in a fastidious and conscientious manner, be highly self-motivated, professional, and possess a high level of attention to detail, capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks.Duties/ResponsibilitiesUpdate and maintain personnel data and documents using Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and National Industrial Security System (NISS)Assist the AFSOs with all indoctrinations, debriefs, and DISS reportsConduct Employee briefings, debriefings, and in/out processingSubmit visit requests as directed by the AFSOs using DISS, Army Centralized Contracts and Security (ACCS), and other systemsRead, understand, and follow directives, manuals, regulations, and program requirementsUpdate and maintain data and documents in DISS/ NBIS, and NISSAssist the AFSO with self-inspections in accordance with Company policy for each Client and assist with any noted vulnerabilitiesAssist the AFSO in ensuring our Clients are compliant with Facility Clearance (FCL) Government regulationsUnderstand our Clients’ corporate structure and bylaws as they pertain to the National Industrial Security Program (NISP)Assist AFSOs with the overall responsibility and accountability for all assigned projects against preestablished guidelinesAdd/update and maintain information provided by the AFSO and Management Team in our Security Control (Sec-Con) databaseAssist the AFSOs with updating Standard Practices and Procedures (SPP), Annual Training, and Foreign Travel BriefingsAct as the backup to the AFSOs in their absenceQualificationsUS Citizenship RequiredMinimum of Top Secret government security clearance or eligibility for government security clearance. Applicants without required clearance, if selected, will be subject to a government security investigation for Interim Secret Clearance.Minimum of a High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED)1+ year of administrative, security, or customer service experienceAbility to quickly understand policies and procedures presented during on-the-job trainingStrong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skillsExceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, friendly and professional demeanorEffective time managementProficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and TeamsRequired TrainingMust complete the following Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) Security Training, Education and Professionalization Portal (STEPP) courses prior to start, unless otherwise identified:FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities curriculum (within 6 months of employment)Establishing an Insider Threat Program trainingInsider Threat Awareness trainingPersonally Identifiable Information (PII) trainingCyber Awareness trainingNISS External User trainingWhat we offerThe salary range for this role is $50,000 to $55,000Opportunity for hybrid work to start, fully-remote schedules considered after 90 daysA competitive salary and benefits packageA casual, friendly, and relaxed work environmentProfessional growth encouragement and supportIndustrial Security Integrators, LLC (“IsI”) is an equal opportunity employer committed to affirmative action and diversity in the workplace.
