WHY WE'RE HERE
The Air Dominance and Strike Division is one of Anduril’s fastest growing divisions whose goal is to fundamentally reshape the way future peer to peer conflicts are fought by developing next generation software enabled collaborative air combat weapons. Our division develops, builds, and tests collaborative combat aircraft, missiles, and the software that powers these collaborative robots.
We are seeking a Chief Engineer that will be responsible for management of multiple active DoD contracts that fund the development and sustainment of the Digital Infrastructure and engineering workflows that support the engineering teams within Air Dominance & Strike. This Chief Engineer will be responsible for collaborating with other Anduril teams to define Air Dominance & Strike’s digital infrastructure strategy, will make direct contribution to each draft proposal response with Digital Infrastructure requirements, and will oversee resourcing, program management, and execution for all Digital Infrastructure contracts and contract line items. Success in this role will require you to be an effective manager and a helpful collaborator. You will directly manage a small team of program managers and engineers and will collaborate closely with many other Anduril engineering teams such as Classified IT, Business Systems, Information Security, and Physical Security.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Specify the Digital Infrastructure required to support execution on each AD&S program.

Ensure that all Digital Infrastructure contracted obligations are performed and related revenue captured.

Ensure that all outgoing AD&S proposals properly articulate the AD&S Digital Infrastructure strategy, capability, and opportunity.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have an active Top Secret level security clearance.
BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
Significant experience leading cross discipline software engineering teams executing across many disparate lines of effort in highly regulated industries.
Demonstrated experience as a principal level individual contributor working with high performing software engineering teams.
Demonstrated experience automating complex engineering workflows and implementing robust change management and observability infrastructure.
Strong ability to synthesize customer objectives into engineering outcomes.
Ability to work in a functional matrix organization.
Designed → Built → Delivered experience.
Willingness to travel when necessary.
