Our innovative drive has kept us a step ahead of our customers' evolving needs.Job DescriptionThe Senior Consultant II represents insureds and the Company in the defense of bodily injury and property damage lawsuits, subrogation, and Allstate Financial cases. This position prepares for and conducts hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.Key ResponsibilitiesContact clients to discuss their case and answer any questions.Review new file assignments, all documentary evidence, and approve initial pleadings, propound discovery, and develop strategy.Investigate and pursue subrogation litigation, as appropriate.Conduct settlements/dispositive proceedings (e.g., mediations, arbitrations, etc.).Prepare and conduct court appearances (matter management conferences, hearings, status conferences, etc.).Conduct depositions and examinations under oath and prepare summary documents.Prepare witnesses and clients for depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials including expert witnesses.Try and/or arbitrate cases and prepare motions and summary documents in liminie.Keep claim business partners updated on status (initial client contact, initial litigation plan, recurring contacts, strategy conferences, and pre-trial, etc.).Education4 year Bachelor's Degree (Required).Juris Doctor (Required).Experience3 or more years of experience (Preferred).Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job does not have supervisory duties.Education & Experience (in lieu)In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.SkillsClient Documentation, Evidence Gathering, Legal Document Preparation, Litigation, Torts.CompensationCompensation offered for this role is $66,800.00 - 120,650.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.Joining our team isn't just a job - it's an opportunity that encourages you to challenge the status quo and impact the future for the greater good.Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position.
