Dieterich Bank is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Effingham, IL. This is an in-person role based at our Corporate Center in Effingham, IL, requiring daily on-site attendance.

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for and leads the implementation, programming, system maintenance, end user support, and training for business systems and technology solutions across multiple business units. Collaborates and assists with department operations across multiple business units. Responsible for creating, evaluating, and distributing various reports on multiple systems, specifically focused on digital applications and automation. The Business System Analyst safeguards critical systems and assets, develops robust solutions, and implements new software.

Essential Duties:

Be proficient across all Primary Banking Applications. Identify, diagnose, and resolve end user system errors across banking application systems. Assign and maintain proper employee access levels to the software systems. Review release notes from vendors and determine which new/updated features will impact users. Work with appropriate teams to introduce the impacts and look for resolutions/new implementations. Ensure all standard updates are installed promptly with proper notification and training to go along with them. Defines, communicates, and manages change management (release) process to develop and implement new vendor application extensions or updates to existing applications. Work with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage the applications to support additional business processes or functions if functionality doesn't exist within the software. Develops training plans, materials, and documentation for application users, keeps material up-to-date, and coordinates new user and ongoing training sessions for employees as needed. Develops and maintains custom reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously improve data quality, process integrity, and productivity. Possess excellent communication skills. The Business Systems Analyst is well-informed about changes and their implications, anticipates questions and concerns, acknowledges the impact of the change on individuals and teams, shows understanding and is ready to offer empathy and support, uses simple and straightforward language when communicating to users highlighting the potential benefits of the change and how it aligns with broader goals. Travels to branches to learn processes and look for efficiency gains and make necessary configuration changes. This could be anything from observing the retail staff, opening new accounts, working with the Loan Admins to learn what their daily activities are, and working with loan staff. This team would be looking at the holistic approach from when the customer walks in the door to walking out with their product (deposit, TDA, or loan). Attends webinars and conferences related to the application systems used by the Bank. Confers with employees, other banks, and any other relevant party who uses the same application systems to gather information on necessary improvements. Secondary Duties:

Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers. Participate in the integration process with other enterprise systems or other applications as opportunities arise. Communicate any changes to the frontline staff so they are aware of them. Work with third-party vendors during new system installations to ensure that their applications function as expected. Clean up the applications and make sure they are functioning to their fullest capability. Review new products and see what products or changes would work well with the systems currently in place to make the system work more smoothly and streamlined. Other duties as assigned. Work Schedule:

This position requires 40 hours each week with work generally being completed between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Weekend and evening work will occur on an as-needed basis to keep up with updates to the systems. This position will include an on-call night and weekend rotation with other IT members. Limited travel to branches with some travel for conferences and training will be necessary.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business, MIS, computer science, OR 3+ years of experience in IT, computer programming, etc.

This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
