Position Summary:
Reports to a Director, Financial Planning & Analysis
The Apartments Financial Planning & Analysis team leads the annual business plan, quarterly forecasts, monthly financial reporting and analysis for Irvine Company Apartments. This role will support the capital FP&A team.
The capital FP&A team partners with project management, construction management, development, finance, and accounting colleagues.
Job Duties:
Support the development of quarterly forecast, annual budget, and long-term plan for Apartments division capital expendituresPrepare recurring and ad-hoc consolidated capital spend/project-level reporting and analysesCross-functional collaboration with project teams to maintain accuracy of project financials and attributesSupport the administration of the Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) system on the SAP platform and associated BI reporting data model, including maintaining data integrity and collaborating on and implementing system enhancementsInterpret and manipulate large datasets from multiple data sources in order to build financial models and reporting packagesMinimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
Education:
BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA a plusExperience:
Minimum two years of experience in a real estate finance or analytical roleExperience with financial statement analysisCapital planning and real estate experience a plusKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Critical thinker; detail-oriented; self-motivated; ability to multi-task and prioritizeAbility to effectively communicate in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentExpert in Microsoft Excel, including strong modeling capabilityGoogle Sheets, Tableau, Webi and SAP experience a plus
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $96,200.00 - $122,400.00
Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
