Job Description
Picking and packing materials from both external and internal customers according to production order, feed material to relevant process and ensure the material supply to production line, follow-up and inventory stock.
Work Hours: 2nd Shift 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
Hourly rate: $18.78 + $0.75 Shift Differential = $19.53
Expectations & Responsibilities:
Pick/Pack/Ship finished goods from the warehouse.Contact freight companies to schedule pickups through phone or digital portals.Receive, sort, and label packages and put away in warehouse.Consolidate inventory within warehouse.Spot/Cycle count warehouse inventory.Executes quality checks and inspections as needed.Maintain clean organization of goods, paperwork, work area, etc.Continuously build job knowledge through execution of Standard Operating ProceduresDevelop the department in accordance with the Alfa Laval Production System participating in team performance and improvement meetings.Observes all company policies.Other tasks as may be assigned.What you Know
You have a high school diploma or GED, and:
Previous production or warehouse exposureFork lift and/or crane operationExposure to use and care of basic production or assembly hand toolsBasic Personal Computer skillsAbility to learn and use company system tools effectivelyBe able to lift up to 60 pounds
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Candidates interested in the company-sponsored GED program will be considered.
