Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled
Data Analyst
with expertise in
Snowflake
and cloud environments to join our dynamic data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to support decision-making processes. This role requires a deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and proficiency in cloud platforms.Key Responsibilities1. Data Analysis and Interpretation
Analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver actionable insights.2. Data ManagementDevelop and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems for data integration and processing.Ensure data quality and integrity by performing regular audits and validation.3. Snowflake ExpertiseDesign, develop, and maintain Snowflake data warehouses.Optimize Snowflake performance through efficient data modeling and query optimization.Implement data security and privacy best practices within the Snowflake environment.4. Cloud Platform ProficiencyUtilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data storage, processing, and analysis.Implement and manage cloud-based data solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability.Monitor cloud resource usage and optimize for cost efficiency.5. Collaboration and ReportingWork closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and other analysts.Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.Provide recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic business decisions.Qualifications1. EducationBachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Master's degree preferred.2. ExperienceProven experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or similar role.Extensive experience with Snowflake, including data warehouse design and management.Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).3. Technical SkillsProficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages.Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R.Understanding of ETL processes and tools.4. Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
