Stable, growth oriented and customer focused commercial construction company seeks a self-motivated, proven producer for a key position their team. The successful candidate will have a history of 5+ years in building new client relationships through lead generation, maintaining excellent customer service, and surpassing sales & gross profit business plans. Knowledge and experience in real estate, industrial or commercial construction sales or field sales experience to general contractors, building owners, superintendents and the commercial real estate industry is required. This highly visible position reports directly to the President.
Essential Functions and Experience
:Prepare estimates and quotes for current and future potential customersCreate, maintain and execute a successful territory sales planSuccessful outside sales experience in commercial constructionInitiate and control sales processes with new clientsProject a positive presence in negotiations to maximize revenues and profitsClose and multi-task sales opportunities through the use of the company’sCRM system experience, computer literate and functionalFollow up and monitor projects with current customers to ensure their satisfactionParticipate in weekly management team meetings, reporting on key identified metrics and providing competitive intelligence as necessaryContinually develop technical skills and product knowledge, staying abreast of new technology developmentsQualifications
Existing client network is a plusExperience in new customer developmentFamiliarity with commercial construction projects and technologies
