The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) and Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine are conducting a search for the leadership opportunity to serve as the next Chief of the Division of Digestive Diseases. This position is of key strategic importance. It occurs at a pivotal moment given the significant commitment of UHealth to elevate digestive health as a luminary specialty in the expansion of the health system. This prioritization is compounded by a major philanthropic commitment to the division. This funding will empower the Chief to drive growth and innovation in clinical, research, and training initiatives.
The Chief will lead all aspects of the division and, in collaboration with the Chair and faculty, will develop a strategic growth roadmap. The overarching objective is positioning the program among the very best nationally and internationally. The Chief will lead an extraordinary group of faculty and trainees and build on the rich traditions and accomplishments of this established program to create a bright and differentiated future.
The Division of Digestive Diseases is a leading program for UHealth with strong research, outstanding patient care with an expanding clinical footprint, and superb training programs. The division offers care and expertise in all adult digestive diseases by providing a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to manage the most complex problems.
