THE PRACTICE:
This role will align with our Manufacturing & Operations practice and fall under the Production & Operations capability. Manufacturing & Operations professionals help our clients achieve their ambitions for digital transformation within their core manufacturing and operations throughout the full lifecycle of their assets. With domain expertise across consulting and technology, they unlock new sources of opex and capex efficiency and effectiveness.
Production & Operations Systems Engineers enable Manufacturing Modernization with deep specialization in Execution systems (MES/ MOM), Automation, and Plant data models.
THE WORK:
Assess complex technical environments and define requirements for integration of new solutions.
Work with customers to understand business requirements and document functional and technical specifications.
Design and develop solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies, SQL Server, and third-party manufacturing applications.
Test and implement new systems.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Job Requirements:
Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 25-50% as needed based on client delivery needs.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Minimum of 1 year of experience with commercial off-the-shelf MES/MOM products (i.e. Aveva/Wonderware, Rockwell FTPC, Parsec TrakSys, Siemens Opcenter, DELMIS Apriso, Solumina iBASEt) or Custom Microsoft .NET development.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
Innovative, highly technical professional with demonstrated experience and success in full life cycle development using Microsoft .NET technologies.
College Diploma or University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering with a substantial computer science component.
Experience in full life cycle software development.
Design and development of complex systems, including development of multi-tier applications, with a strong focus on OOA&D and relational database technology.
Experience working with customers as part of the software development process.
Experience using Microsoft tools, including C# and SQL Server.
Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and multi-tasking skills.
Valid passport and ability to travel within Canada, the US and internationally.
Compensation:
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington.
