With this position you will operate independently while still collaborating with our founder. If you have a proven track record in the events industry and possess exceptional leadership qualities, we want to hear from you!About Us:As a leading event management firm known for impeccable execution and an innovative approach, A Monique Affair has a diverse portfolio of successful productions ranging from corporate gatherings and personal celebrations to weddings. We pride ourselves in exceeding client expectations.Requirements:8+ years in event planning and management, with a demonstrable track record of successful events (managing complex events from conception to execution). Must provide a portfolio of senior/lead level planning documentation within the last 4 years.Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues/team you manage.Strong business acumen and strategic mindset to identify growth opportunities and steer the company towards success. Must be prepared to provide references.Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Forward thinking, adept at problem-solving and making swift, informed decisions under pressure.Demonstrated knowledge of Aisle Planner, Basecamp, and G-suite.Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Available to complete 10 hours a week [hours being within Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (PST)]Flexible; but availability must be constantly communicatedTask oriented scheduleResponsibilities:Oversee all aspects of the event planning business, ensuring seamless operations and efficient processes.Managing
—Lead a talented team of event planners: providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a positive work environment.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep the company at the forefront of event planning.Ensuring AMA SOPs are being executed properly while working alongside operations.Directly manage Director of Client + Creative EngagementManage financial forecasts and resource allocation to optimize profitability and maintain cost-effectiveness.Maintain a consistent strategic plan to drive business growth and expand the company's market presence.Manage the attendance of AMA at networking events and wedding showcases.Inquiring about + coordinating availability of attendeesEnsuring a rotation of fresh AMA team members' facesAnalyzing efficiencies and areas for improvement + present to team.Relationship Managing
