Empath Health is currently seeking a Talent Development Partner (PRN) to join our team. Partners with leaders and senior management in the development and implementation of key strategies that sustain a high performing organization. Develops processes that support the agency’s objectives in the areas of internal communications, organizational culture, talent development, leadership development, and change management. Participates in large scale projects with significant business impact involving cross-functional teams. Influences strategic direction, develops tactical plans and completes complex assignments. Provides comprehensive solutions to complex problems or needs. End results are evaluated for achieving goals and objectives. Extensive contact with internal customers, including senior leaders, is required to identify, research, analyze and resolve issues. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Education and/or Experience: Master’s degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. KNOWLEDGE OF: Talent processes (e.g. performance management, succession management, career management) Development solutions (e.g., coaching, development plan creation, competency design, development program design) Curriculum design Strategic internal change communications Principles of organizational development & organizational effectiveness SKILL IN: Advanced teaching, facilitation, consulting, coaching, program development and project management skills Consulting to assess, recommend, and implement talent management solutions that align with the agency objectives Applying talent management strategies that are effective and relevant to the business Developing effective relationships with the agency leaders and HR partners Influencing others and outcomes Adapting to and leading organizational change Coaching to assist leaders and staff in reaching their full potential Facilitating talent review sessions and leadership development courses Preparing and delivering written and oral presentations and proposals ABILITY TO: Manage multiple priorities and multitask Build relationships and interact with all levels of leadership and staff Lead and adapt to change Deal with ambiguity and create process and structure where it does not currently exist Manage medium to large projects independently while balancing daily required tasks Maintain confidences, use sound judgment and exercise discretion to ensure integrity of talent processes Communicate across broad audiences at all levels Partner with other functional areas to accomplish objectives Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT: Demonstrate professional accountability Advocate for positive change Display customer service excellence Utilize all communication technologies and practices effectively Participate in improving performance and quality Manage resources effectively JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Partner with leaders and senior management to develop and implement strategies that optimize workforce performance, desired culture, and organizational effectiveness. Utilize expert facilitation skills in conducting talent development and learning sessions. Prepare and deliver written and oral presentations and proposals. Create and implement innovative communications programs and strategies to inform, educate, and inspire staff about all that is happening at Empath Health. Develop strategies for communicating information to employees using a range of channels, including staff meetings, videos, intranet communication, email, and more. Stay abreast of the latest developments in communications, leadership, learning and organizational development areas to serve as a subject matter expert and consult to the organization regarding critical people issues. Provide input to the strategic development of talent management processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Empath Health values diversity as it strengthens our community and care.
