Job DutiesTechnical and Functional Support for SAP Ariba Implementations:
Gather business requirements for implementing SAP Ariba On-demand (Cloud), providing technical solutions for various modules including Ariba Network, Buying and Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, and Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP);Provide expert functional and technical support such as L2 and L3 across Ariba cloud as well as on-premise solutions;Assess customer systems and assist in system configurations, including support process and dataflows for different customer requirements;Manage technical performance, detail planning of process implementation, and define detailed blueprints for development requirements;Design custom solutions for integrating Ariba with multiple customer legacy systems;Analyze and identify operational master data structures/files and key integration required for inbound and outbound transactional interfaces in scope, using Ariba’s Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG);Develop complex business reports using Ariba Analysis application, optimizing reports to improve performance;Participate actively in meetings with customers’ global cross-functional departments such as IT, sourcing, procurement, accounts payable, and office of enterprise solution architects to comprehend, design and perform technical feasibility evaluation on application and system integration configuration requirements;Transform identified business scenarios or use cases into Ariba cloud system technical requirements and review for any technical constraints with business systems. Brainstorm creative technical solutions for complex configuration scenarios;Assist customers to understand new features and releases. Conduct product demos to the business;Recommend Ariba's best practice guidelines to the customers, providing Ariba functional and technical guidance. Implement the best practice configurations in Ariba cloud systems;Support data movement modeling, health check; impact analysis modeling; infrastructure; support and resolution; integration and orchestration; IT-Strategy Creation; migration planning; optimization; performance and tuning; project review; quality assurance; roadmap consulting; roles, authorizations and user management; system copy and upgrade; technical architecture, Change Management and Conception; transformation blueprint creation; web enablement; and workshop performance.
Manage Customer Escalations:
Plan and manage multiple customer projects and handle customer expectations effectively and efficiently;Act as technical advisor to customers throughout the engagement and lead the resolution of escalations;Conduct complex de-escalation activities for SAP’s critical premium customers and operating system landscapes while playing a key role in war room engagements throughout the platform support cycles;Assess current solution support situations of the overall system and application platform stability to estimate work progress and business application readiness;Liaise with escalation managers to draft or revise current de-escalation plans for customer leadership to stabilize sentiments.
Business Process Analysis:
Provide technical integration validation using Ariba’s Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG), including performance analysis and optimization of end-to-end (E2E) business processes, data consistency analysis, and analysis of critical interfaces for performance and transactional correctness;Document and assess the overall system and application operations systems and develop comprehensive support service plans for SAP Ariba customers;Review and support system testing plans and user acceptance testing by actively monitoring data volume and program errors.
Documentation & Training:
Manage technical configuration, business process, customization and support process documents;Prepare customer training documents as needed.
Project Management:
Perform project manager responsibility as required across one and more customer engagements and provide administration support;Develop project scopes and objectives and create a project plan to track progress;Participate in weekly review meetings, providing project roadmap and creative solutions on critical client issues.
