Senior Legal Counsel - Commercial & Projects

Join a growing in-house legal team with brilliant progression opportunities.A successful Senior Legal Counsel - Commercial & Projects should have:Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts and agreements, including construction documents (NEC, JCT), while protecting the company's legal rights.Provide advice on procurement regulations, commercial disputes, property litigation, and data protection.Collaborate with stakeholders, addressing their concerns while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.Ensure the company adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Mitigate legal risks associated with contracts and business operations.Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.Comply with the company's policies in the carrying out of all duties.Have extensive knowledge of regulator and/or utility sector legal issues, gas industry-related legislation and codes, including relevant legislation such as the Gas Act 1986 (and related regulations).Qualifications:UK/IRE Qualified with a minimum level PQE of at least 6+ years.Excellent client care and communication skills.Able to work autonomously and produce high-quality work.Excellent time management skills with strong prioritisation skills and ability to effectively manage your own workload.Our client is a large-scale firm operating within the Energy & Natural Resources industry.Compensation includes:A competitive package of £80,000 to £95,000 per year.Performance-related bonus.Hybrid working.25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.Retirement savings plan.14 x salary Life Insurance.
