This role involves handling multiple cases, managing regulatory and compliance matters, and serving as the primary point person in litigation and client counseling efforts.Duties:Manage complex managed care litigation cases from inception through resolution, including arbitration and court proceedings.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering strategic legal counsel and coordinating communication across all stages of litigation.Oversee the litigation process, coordinating with associates, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management.Provide legal advice and counseling on managed care regulatory and compliance matters.Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.Represent clients in court, arbitration, and before regulatory bodies.Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve client goals and minimize risk.Monitor and analyze legal and regulatory developments related to managed care and health care law.Handle multiple cases and ensure that all deadlines and client expectations are met.Requirements:3-7 years of experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration, with a focus on managed care or health care law.Proven experience managing multiple cases and regulatory or compliance matters.Ability to serve as the lead attorney on litigation and client counseling projects, including managing teams and client relationships.Significant case management and client counseling experience preferred.Excellent academic credentials, with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Strong academic record, particularly in courses focused on litigation, managed care, or health care law.Certifications:Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.Skills:Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.Strong verbal communication and presentation abilities.Proven experience managing complex cases and coordinating with diverse teams.Ability to develop and execute comprehensive litigation strategies.Capable of handling multiple cases and client matters simultaneously.Expertise in managed care and health care regulatory and compliance issues.
