As a Technical Product Marketing Manager you will play a key role managing the Locus Customer Experience Center at our new corporate headquarters in Wilmington, MA. In this role, you will engage and showcase our award-winning warehouse robotics solutions by conducting product demonstrations and strategy sessions for needs and requirements of the experience center across a variety of audiences including prospective and existing customers, partners, investors, and employees.
In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of the warehousing industry, the Locus solution, buyers' needs, and the competitive landscape to build a compelling narrative to bring to life at the demo floor for our products and services. You will have direct touch points across our Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product Management, Business Development, and Executive Leadership teams
Responsibilities
Customer Experience Center Ownership : Oversee and ensure a seamless experience for a variety of product and solution demonstrations for prospective and existing customers, partners, investors, and employees.Develop Demonstration Strategies:
Create effective demonstration plans that highlight key product features, benefits, and applications within the warehouse and logistics industry.Collaboration:
Work closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and tailor demonstrations accordingly to drive conversions.Product Expertise:
Develop deep knowledge of the product portfolio, to craft and execute a range of use cases based on customer need and product capabilities Help to support sales tools that effectively communicate our solution's value proposition to support the sales cycle and motions (i.e., sales playbooks, collateral, etc.).Manage Demonstration Equipment:
Oversee the setup and maintenance of robotics demonstration equipment and materials.Client Interaction:
Engage directly with clients to address questions, provide insights, and handle objections during demonstrations.Training and Support:
Train sales teams and new hires on product features and demonstration techniques.Feedback Loop:
Gather feedback from demonstrations to provide actionable insights to product development and marketing teams.Monitor Industry Trends:
Stay updated on the latest trends in warehouse logistics and supply chain management to keep demonstrations relevant and impactful.Reporting and Analysis:
Create reports on demonstration outcomes, customer feedback, and conversion rates.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, product marketing, or relevant work experience. MBA or secondary degree a major plus.5+ years' experience in warehousing, warehouse management or industrial engineering experience with warehouse robotics automation a major plus.Proven experience in conducting product demonstrations, preferably in the warehouse logistics or supply chain industry.Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics processes, inventory management, and warehouse management systems (WMS).Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively demonstrate products and engage clients.Effective communication and storytelling skills to effectively educate and enable audiences from various backgrounds using a variety of mediums both in-person and virtually.Ability to learn and explain complex products and technical solutions related to warehouse logistics.Strong focus on understanding and addressing customer needs and pain points.Experience managing demonstration schedules, equipment logistics, and coordination with multiple stakeholders.Ability to analyze demonstration effectiveness and provide feedback for continuous improvement.Adept at handling unexpected issues during demonstrations and offering practical solutions.Proficient English verbal and written communication skills.
