We are seeking an experienced
Commercial Lines Account Manager
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in commercial insurance, a deep understanding of client needs, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, working closely with clients to understand their coverage needs, providing quotes, handling policy renewals, and facilitating claims resolution. You will also collaborate with insurance carriers to ensure that policies are in place and up to date.Key Responsibilities:
Manage a book of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retentionAdvise clients on coverage options and insurance solutions tailored to their needsPrepare and review insurance policies, endorsements, and renewalsProcess policy changes, endorsements, and cancellations in a timely mannerAct as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issuesWork with underwriters and insurance carriers to secure the best coverage and ratesEnsure compliance with Maine state insurance regulations and company proceduresMaintain accurate client records and update them as necessary
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance (with a focus on account management)Maine Property & Casualty license requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple prioritiesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems
