Their state-of-the-art facilities specialize in producing a wide range of packaging solutions, from solid-dose tablets and injectables to advanced gene therapy products, meeting the latest industry standards for quality and compliance.DescriptionOversee daily accounting operations and the month-end close process.Lead a team comprising billing specialists, cash application specialist, and senior accounting specialist.Supervise the accounts receivable process from invoicing through to collections, focusing on precision and promptness.Oversee the accounts payable process, from invoice input to the completion of payments.Regularly review accounts receivable and payable aging reports, following up on any overdue accounts.Collaborate with business development, billing specialists, and project managers to address billing discrepancies or disputes.Establish and uphold effective credit and collections policies and procedures.Evaluate customer payment behaviors to identify opportunities for process enhancements.Generate periodic reports on accounts receivable status and performance for management review.Assist in preparing revenue forecasts and complete monthly accrued revenue entries.Contribute to the creation of personal performance targets and departmental goals.Work with internal and external auditors during financial audits.Keep informed on industry standards and regulatory requirements in accounts receivable and payable management.Conduct monthly general ledger accounting entries and ensure timely account analysis and reconciliations.Handle special projects and other tasks as assigned.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and lead the organization through process changes.Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, including tax-related requirements.Maintain compliance with IFRS standards.Sustain a robust internal control environment, applying best practices with a focus on continuous improvement.Research, investigate, and recommend updates or alternative accounting policies and procedures.ProfileBachelor's degree (preferably a B.S. in Finance or Accounting), with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and/or MBA being advantageous.7+ years in accounting or finance, ideally in pharmaceutical clinical supplies or manufacturing; public accounting experience is a plus but not mandatory.3+ years in a role managing accounting functions.Strong skills in organization, team leadership, and time management.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members, peers, leadership, and external partners.Proficient with technology, particularly in Excel, and knowledgeable in SAP, Cognos, and Smartsheets.Job OfferJob Type: Full-timePay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year + 10% bonus401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance
