With regional recycling facilities across the US, we offer national services to the Alcohol and Non-alcohol Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Health & Beauty, and Industrial Alcohol industries.Due to growth, we are hiring for a Maintenance Technician in our Dade City, FL location to work on the 2nd shift (3:00pm -11:30pm M-F).Why join us?Offer full medical, dental, visionShort term and long term disabilityLife insuranceBonus potential quarterly – $550 based on the individual and company performance401k with match of fifty cents on the dollar up to 6%Hourly rateOvertime payJob DetailsThe Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, brake, electric motor, and gearbox issues that arise; monitoring catch basins, pumps, lift stations, and other related structures and equipment for stormwater & flooding control; and properly disposing of waste created during the production process.Job Responsibilities Troubleshoot equipment failures and maintains the mechanical equipment in plant including, but not limited to, routine and preventive maintenance, equipment rebuilds, material handling, crushing, pneumatic, hydraulic, and pumping systems. Perform routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance of forklifts. Ability to work on LP, gas, and diesel systems. Good working knowledge of brake systems and tire/wheel changes. Perform basic electrical troubleshooting skills and repair of production machines. Operate mobile equipment to assist with completing assigned duties. Operate cutting torch and welding equipment to cut and/or join metal components. Perform welding and cutting assignments such as fabrication of plant equipment and structures and repair of worn process equipment according to plant standards. Prepare, assemble, and install new equipment. Dismantle machinery to repair or replace defective parts. Disassemble components, inspect parts for wear and determine cause of failure. Design and fabrication of parts to precise specifications. Use a wide variety of hand and power tools, cutting torches and welding equipment. Perform mechanical work and repairs on the plant machinery. Evaluate and coordinate mechanical needs, repairs, and modificationsInterested in hearing more?
