Job Description: Axiom Developer No flexibility with bill rate Location: ONSITE - Pittsburgh, PA (as of 1.22, this role can now be remote, preferably candidate located in Pittsburgh or Cleveland) Overtime: No Client Equipment: Provided laptop Background Check: Fully cleared Vaccine Requirement: Yes Must-Have's: Very good Oracle and PLSQL skills Axiom reporting experience, showcasing specific reports such as Axiom Controller View for the FFIEC 031, FFIEC 041, FRY 14M/Q, FRY-14, FRY-9C, FRY 14M, FRY 14Q, FRY-9C, FFIEC 031 & 041 regulatory reports. JD and Responses from HM on Supplier Questions: Acceptance of Sr. Analysts & Business Analysts: The role is for a developer, focusing on hands-on SQL and Axiom report development. Business Analysts and Sr. Analysts may not be hands-on coders. Experience Flexibility: The client is primarily looking for Axiom and SQL skills. Past experience is valued, and candidates should be proficient and confident in their abilities. Interview Process and Timeline: One round with Cognizant and 2 rounds with the client. The client is aiming for a swift hiring process. Years of Experience Flexibility: The client emphasizes the need for a strong profile. Past instances with a candidate with 6 years of experience struggling in the interview underscore the importance of a confident and capable candidate. JD (General and Technical): General: Knowledge of Banking, Financial, and US regulatory environment. Aligns business strategy with software solutions. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Highly motivated individual who enjoys challenges. Actively strives to broaden technology and business knowledge. Innovative approach to applying modern software development principles, methodologies, and tools. Experience in projects using waterfall or agile methodologies. Technical: 5-8 years of hands-on configuration experience using Axiom for very large data sets. Familiarity with OAS or Tableau is a plus. Expertise in database design and programming skills - SQL/PLSQL. Intermediate-level skills in data analysis and data modeling. Experience with using R or Python is advantageous. Knowledge and experience of data modeling and data warehouse concepts. Working knowledge of software design patterns and architecture. Leads complex problem-solving and provides technical guidance and support. Proposes, designs, and codes software solutions to address complex business needs. Oversees technical and procedural documentation as required.
