What you will doThe Aftermarket Parts Sales Engineer manages client relationships by answering technical questions regarding equipment parts, determining feasibility of custom orders, and developing customized offerings all while utilizing technical knowledge of Water Cooled and Air-Cooled Chiller equipment and Manufacturing and Service Bill of Materials information.

How you will do itProvide technical assistance to customers, JCI account managers and product managers regarding Water Cooled and Air-Cooled Chiller aftermarket parts and sub-assemblies.

Manage projects under direct supervision of Product and Sales Managers and lead the development of customized offerings (e.g. critical spare parts lists) by identifying customer equipment install base requirements, lifecycle needs, and customer and technical feedback.

Conduct technical trainings in person or via a webinar to customers on proper application of the products.

Support quoting and ordering process with any technical or advanced parts ID question while developing highly professional business relationships with vendors, plants, parts engineers, product and sales managers.

Assist with maintaining the product specific submittals and technical documents.

What we look forBachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year College or University in Engineering.

2-5+ years of engineering experience in the HVAC industry, preferably with Water Cooled and Air-Cooled Chillers.

Knowledge of computer aided drafting software, AutoCAD or equivalent.

Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint software.

Strong attention to detail is essential.

Must be able to creatively problem solve while using the materials and facts at hand.

Excellent interpersonal skills and flexibility to work on multiple projects and assignments is critical.

Must be willing to travel occasionally to respective manufacturing plants or customer sites for training or voice of customer discussions.

Experience with Engineering software platforms (i.e. Windchill)
