This position is responsible for Branch's network and information security support.Client DetailsOne of the world's largest commercial banks, offering corporate and personal banking, investment services, and asset management. Fully on-site contract position in Manhattan, NY.Description◼ Administrate and maintain the network infrastructure to ensure high security and performance◼ Ensure that network device configuration and patching are well managed while meeting the Bank' IT & IS standards.◼ Supervise and control the overall operations and implementation of systems involving network, Internet, email gateway, IDS/IPS, SIEM system, vulnerability scan systems etc.◼ Collaborate with IS team in vulnerability scan & penetration tests, ensure that the vulnerabilities are well tracked and remediated on time while meeting the Bank' IT & IS standards◼ Liaise with data center service providers (e.g. Head Office) in relation to network, equipment, information security and service provisions.◼ Contact carriers for circuits, and other vendors for equipment and service installation, maintenance or troubleshooting.◼ Formulate disaster recovery plans/incident responses, and arrange for relevant tests to ensure that the plan is following the regulatory requirements and Head Office's requirements.◼ Provide Helpdesk support for network/security related requests or issues.◼ Any other work assigned by IT Department Management.Profile◼ Must have excellent verbal communication skills◼ Must be detail-oriented◼ Experience with Cisco and Juniper's firewall, routers and switches.◼ Professional Certifications in networking required (Cisco CCNA or CCIE)◼ Networking in TCP/IP, IP addressing, IP subnets and routing protocols◼ Professional knowledge and experience in network security on IDS/IPS and firewall devices.
