Under the direction of the Executive Director of Academic Advising, this position is responsible for providing a high level of support to the Undergraduate advising community through committees, programs, and stakeholders, as well as the Executive Director. This position provides project management for ongoing assessment, programmatic coordination, and special assignments to advance the mission and goals of the Office of Academic Advising. Through partnerships, this position works closely with many stakeholders. This position is responsible for ensuring policies, procedures, and best practices are followed for financial processing support and essential committee support.Apply By Date

Experience managing dynamic electronic calendars and communications to evaluate requests, discern appropriate action, and commit executive to action.Experience working in an environment that requires interpersonal and communication skills to create and maintain professional collaborative working relationships.Experience using various software programs (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software, etc.) to accomplish assignments.Analytical and problem-solving skills to be resourceful, anticipate and identify problems, and develop creative solutions for resolution; demonstrates ability to analyze, research and synthesize large amounts of data with strong attention to detail.Political acumen and judgment to handle sensitive or difficult situations with discretion; demonstrated initiative and skills to work cooperatively and collaboratively as an effective member of a high-performing work team.Organizational and time management skills to achieve timely progress on multiple simultaneous tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of quality with attention to detail; demonstrated organizational skills to work effectively on multiple projects with careful attention to detail and to establish workload priorities to meet deadlines.Preferred QualificationsExperience or knowledge of campus systems including KFS, AggieTravel, AggieBuy.Experience coordinating domestic and international travel and establishing itineraries. Experience with general accounting/ledger review.Familiarity with campus-wide offices, administrative contacts, campus structures, policies, and resources.Knowledge and skill to interpret and apply UC and campus policies and procedures, especially pertaining to purchasing, travel,and entertainment.Skills to identify, research, and resolve accounting problems.Skills to analyze reports and reconcile departmental records.
