Director of Finance - Transformation

Position Status : Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location:

Option for in-person, hybrid or remote in approved work state. (listed at the end of the posting)

Standard Working Hours : 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).

Position Summary:

Provides leadership through financial analysis, management and decision support to assigned areas. Leads and coordinates financial management with the Vice President, division Finance, President/Administrator and finance support staff at Corporate. As an essential member of the divisions Senior Leadership Team, provides management input to improve/maintain performance of Sentara.

Responsibilities:

Serves as a Finance partner to the Transformation Office. Provides financial leadership with explicit role in governance structure and support for the Sentara Health Transformation Office. Provides financial guidance to assist business leaders across the enterprise on how to put forth a performance improvement idea, initiate a project, solve a complex business problem and/or access resources from other divisions. Provides oversight of and guidance to the Finance leads for each workstream, assists with issue escalation to the Transformation Steering Committee. Collaborates with cross-department/cross-divisional teams to achieve goals. Ensures alignment between Transformation Office and FP&A for reporting and planning purposes. Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Level Degree Required Master's degree, MHA/MBA preferred 8 years of Accounting/Finance experience CPA required, professional finance certifications may be considered in lieu of CPA Diversity and Inclusion at Sentara

$166,530.00 - $191,493.12 annually.
