$27-35 per hourJob Summary

The Payroll Administrator is expected to perform a variety of payroll functions, including but not limited to, the processing of weekly payroll and construction certified payroll reports in a timely manner.Main Responsibilities

Perform weekly entering and auditing of payroll information for hourly union and non-union employeesProcess, monitor, and audit multiple daily time keeping systemsEnsure proper scanning and indexing of all completed payroll records and employee pay-related formsRespond to employee pay-related inquiries such as wage garnishment orders and unemployment claims, and enter new wage garnishments into the systemPrepare weekly certified payroll reports and distribute them as neededPrepare monthly union trust fund contribution reportsOther duties as assignedEducation

1-2 years accounting/payroll experienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business (preferred)Previous experience with construction unions in regards to certified payrolls and prevailing wageBasic knowledge of general wage and salary regulationsProficient with data entry/10 key by touchPrevious experience in JD Edwards (preferred)Previous experience in HCSS Heavy Job (preferred)Skills
